WELCOME MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL NURSING OFFICER

On behalf of our ministry, we welcome you to Little Angels Aid Ministry where we all work together to develop in our ministry the capacity to become independent life-long orphans+ at-risk children and to equip them with the skills and knowledge to pursue their goals.

An outstanding feature of the ministry continues to be the very strong sense of community that prevails. Staff and guardians share a joint responsibility for helping each child develop his or her talents and abilities and consequently strong partnerships are forged between the home and ministry environments. Parental involvement in all facets of the ministry is always welcomed and valued.

Children are taught how to care and support each other, as well as to respect everyone’s individual differences. The focus of our social skilling is teaching our children how to get along, how to be persistent and be confident, as well as how to be organised and resilient.

Little Angels Aid Ministry exists to provide care to orphans + at-risk children, powerless young-women, and broken families located in western Uganda, in Uganda. We provide many different types of services to the local communities we serve.

Our work in Uganda includes:

Child advocacy – ensuring the children our organization meets grow up in a loving family and are protected properly.

Women empowerment – shaping a brighter future for young-women who have been raped, abused or neglected and empowering them with trade-skills, farming techniques and employment

Relief work – keeping people alive thorough nutritional aid or medical services

Spiritual mentorship – we are dedicated to introducing people to the real Jesus and showing them their hope in their heavenly father

At Little Angels Aid Ministry, we take a long-term approach to what we do and go beyond simple involvement in the lives of the children and people we serve.

Our Ministry is expanding. This is an exciting time for us as we look to the future. We are delighted to serve a community that is growing. We look forward to increasing our online fundraising team and the facilities we offer over the next three years – but we are determined to keep hold of our close relationships between children, staff and parents.

In order to continue our on-going efforts to provide orphan + at-risk children care, we need your help and support. We are always looking for individuals and businesses like you to help us make this possible. Partnerships can look different for everyone. Invest into the vision and mission of Little Angels Aid Ministry, by standing behind us.

We believe that every life matters and our passion is to see those we work with follow their heart, pursue their dreams, receive the love of the Father, and live life with purpose!
